A few things to know.
Does PR Marmot change anything on GitHub?
No. It reads GitHub data, opens links, and copies information. Reviewing, commenting, and merging stay on GitHub. Watches, snoozes, and preferences are stored locally.
Do I need another account or token?
No PR Marmot account. The app reuses your existing GitHub CLI authentication. Run gh auth login if you haven’t connected it yet.
Will it notify me while the app is closed?
No. PR Marmot must be running, and your operating system must allow notifications. There’s no background helper. See notification guidance.
Can I install it with Homebrew?
The signed release and Homebrew cask are being prepared. For now, use the source-build guide. Linux and Intel Mac users also need a source build.
Does it load every pull request?
Results are bounded, and the app tells you when there’s more to load. Search and filters work on loaded data. See the limits and refresh reference.
